Our Parish Priest 

Rev. Archimandrite Ephram Abbassi 

Father Ephram has been serving as the Parish Priest since June 2010.

Father Ephram was previously a lawyer in Jordan before joining the priesthood. Father Ephram chose to pursue his calling to study Theology and become a priest, eventually traveling to Australia to serve the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.

Father Ephram came to Australia early 2010 and was ordained priest by his Eminence, the dearly departed, Metropolitan Archbishop Paul Saliba. He has since been diligently serving as the parish priest of Saint Elias Church Wollongong.
